Guest Service Associate: Holiday Inn Express Long Island City, NY
Job Summary:We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, assist with check-ins and check-outs, answer guest inquiries, and ensure a positive experience for all guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest requests
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Promote the hotel’s loyalty program
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel front desk experience preferred
- Experience with Opera PMS is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Morning, Evening, and Overnight shifts may be available
- Weekend availability required
