Job Summary
Moeh Automotive LLC is looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanic Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our automotive repair shop. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, automotive repair knowledge, and the ability to keep the shop running efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations and workflow
- Supervise and support mechanics and technicians
- Assign repair orders and monitor job progress
- Ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time
- Perform quality control inspections before vehicle delivery
- Communicate with customers regarding repair recommendations and updates
- Prepare repair estimates and review completed work orders
- Maintain shop productivity and efficiency
- Order and manage parts inventory
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Train and mentor technicians
- Assist with diagnostics and repairs when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive repair experience
- Previous shop management or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of domestic and import vehicles
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ASE Certifications are a plus
