We have flexible scheduling options designed around your availability - work 1 day or all 4 days each week!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before and during their examination
- Sterilize dental instruments
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and review oral health history
- Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g., remove plaque, apply fluoride, etc.)
- Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (for example, demonstrating good brushing techniques)
- Take X-rays and/or dental impressions
- Maintain digital documentation and charts for each patient
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA and OSHA)
- Experience preparing and maintaining dental equipment
- Outstanding communication skills
- A patient and friendly personality
- Strong attention to detail
- Stamina to meet the physical demands of the role
- Valid license to practice
