Overview
Cage Brewing is a community‑driven craft brewery known for great beer, great food, live music, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a Business Development Specialist who can expand our reach, strengthen our brand, and drive revenue across multiple channels — including private events, catering, partnerships, sponsorships, and corporate bookings.
This role blends marketing, sales, relationship‑building, and event growth into one high‑impact position. Includes an opportunity for aggressive commission and bonuses
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Social Media
- Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Create engaging content that highlights Cage Brewing’s beers, food, events, community involvement, and private rental options.
- Manage posting schedules, analytics, ad boosts, and community engagement.
- Coordinate with photographers, designers, and vendors as needed.
Private Events & Corporate Bookings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all private event inquiries (birthdays, corporate outings, reunions, etc.).
- Conduct tours, prepare proposals, and close bookings for tents, picnic tables, yard rentals, and full‑space buyouts.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, HR teams, and event planners to secure recurring bookings.
- Work with the taproom team to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction.
Catering & Off‑Site Opportunities
- Promote Cage Brewing’s beer for off‑site events, festivals, and catering partnerships.
- Identify new revenue streams such as mobile bars, beer packages, and collaborations with local caterers.
Partnerships, Sponsorships & Community Engagement
- Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, hotels, wedding venues, and tourism groups.
- Develop sponsorship packages for local sports teams, nonprofits, and community events.
- Represent Cage Brewing at networking events, chamber meetings, and industry mixers.
- Create cross‑promotional opportunities that drive taproom traffic and brand visibility.
Brand Growth & Strategy
- Assist with marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and product launches.
- Track KPIs for events, social media, and partnership performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience in business development, hospitality sales, event management, or marketing.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Comfortable with social media strategy, content creation, and analytics.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Passion for craft beer and the St. Pete community is a major plus.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
