POSITION SUMMARY
This part-time, W2 position sits at the clinical and revenue core of our psychological testing program. The Psychological Testing Supervisor / Evaluating Clinician is responsible for supervising the psychometrist, selecting individualized testing batteries, performing expert-level report interpretation, reviewing AI-assisted draft reports, and finalizing psychological evaluation documentation in accordance with New Mexico Medicaid standards.
The role is intentionally designed to maximize clinical depth while minimizing administrative burden. AI-assisted report drafting handles test score population and preliminary narrative generation; the Evaluating Clinician adds the irreplaceable clinical layer — diagnostic impressions, interpretive nuance, and individualized treatment recommendations. The practice's initial census is approximately 90% New Mexico Medicaid.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Review completed biopsychosocial intake assessments prepared by master's-level clinicians.
2. Select and document the testing battery appropriate to the referral question and patient presentation.
3. Determine the appropriateness of psychometrist administration versus direct provider administration for complex cases.
4. Supervise the psychometrist during testing (general supervision — available by phone or on-site as required by Ohio Medicaid).
5. Review collateral information entered by the psychometrist (teacher, parent, and spouse rating scales/surveys).
6. Review AI-generated draft testing report populated from scored data.
7. Add clinical interpretations, diagnostic conclusions, and individualized treatment recommendations.
8. Sign and finalize the psychological evaluation report per Ohio Medicaid documentation standards.
9. Optional: Conduct in-person or telehealth feedback sessions with patients and families.
10. Optional: Carry a limited therapy caseload if licensed for direct clinical services.
11. Attend weekly team coordination meetings (virtual attendance acceptable).
12. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Ohio Medicaid documentation requirements, and applicable licensing board standards.
