Magnum is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform general building maintenance, facility repairs, and yard support while helping keep our campus safe, efficient, and well-maintained. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining buildings, grounds, and equipment while supporting shop operations as needed.

What You'll Do
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and other facility repairs
- Maintain and repair dock equipment, including dock lights, overhead doors, dock plates, exterior racking, dumpsters, and scrap areas
- Perform seasonal property maintenance, including snow plowing, snow removal, sanding, and ice control during winter months
- Maintain the fuel island by cleaning, emptying trash, replenishing windshield washer fluid, and ensuring spill kits are stocked
- Organize tractor and trailer parking areas to maximize yard efficiency
- Assist drivers with pre-trip inspections and help ensure DOT compliance requirements are met
- Inspect trailers for cleanliness and sweep trailers as needed
- Pick up and deliver parts, equipment, and materials to support shop operations
- Perform light vehicle and equipment maintenance, including preventive maintenance assistance, tire checks, lighting repairs, grease service, jump starts, and DOT-related support
- Monitor equipment and facility conditions to identify repair needs and help control maintenance costs
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed maintenance and repair work
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform additional maintenance and facility support duties as assigned

We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual with strong maintenance, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ideal candidates have:
- Experience performing general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and facility repairs
- Knowledge of building maintenance practices, inventory control, and workplace safety procedures
- Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and workplace safety regulations
- Ability to adapt and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with changing operational needs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document maintenance and repair activities
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and maintenance-related software
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform general building maintenance and light equipment repairs
- Previous building, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position is performed in a combination of shop, warehouse, yard, and office environments. Employees regularly work around equipment, vehicles, and facility infrastructure and may be exposed to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and temperature changes. The role requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying materials while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
