Kind Little Hearts Nursery is a warm, family-operated in-home daycare serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. We provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Kind, patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
- Energetic and enjoys being active with children.
- Creative and able to engage children through arts & crafts, imaginative play, outdoor activities, movement, and hands-on learning.
- Comfortable caring for children of varying ages and developmental stages.
What You'll Do
- Help supervise and care for up to 6 children each day, primarily toddlers and preschoolers, with occasional care for infants.
- Lead and participate in play-based activities throughout the day.
- Assist with meals, snacks, diapering, potty training, and other daily needs.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Follow daycare policies and state licensing requirements.
- Work alongside the daycare owner, who is always present in the home and available to provide support and supervision.
Requirements
- Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to complete required Colorado childcare training courses and pass a background check before employment.
- Background check fee (approximately $50) is the responsibility of the applicant.
- CPR/First Aid certification is required as well.
Schedule & Pay
- Immediate need: Mondays and Fridays from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
- Beginning in August, this position is expected to expand to Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
- Additional morning shifts (approximately 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM) may also become available for the right candidate.
- Competitive pay based on experience.
