Duties
- Safely operate roll-off trucks and transport waste containers
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving to ensure safe transportation at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding issues encountered daily operation.
- Assist in securing freight loads and safety concerns.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven truck driving experience - 1 year roll-off experience.
- Ability to operate specialized vehicles such as roll-off trucks
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols for commercial driving
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
