The Ruby is looking for a dependable, motivated Assistant Manager to help lead our team and keep daily operations running smoothly at our local coffee shop. This is a fast paced Coffee and Smoothie shop serving health minded beverages to our community.
This is more than a barista position. We are looking for someone who can confidently step into a barista leadership role, support employees, solve problems, maintain high standards, and help create a positive experience for both our team and our customers.
What You'll Do
- Help oversee daily operations and keep shifts running smoothly
- Lead, support, coach, and motivate team members
- Step in and make decisions when problems arise
- Help with scheduling, shift coverage, and employee accountability
- Train new baristas and reinforce company standards
- Maintain excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, inventory, and overall quality
- Work alongside the team and step into any role needed during shifts
- Communicate clearly with the owner and management team
- Help create a positive, productive work environment

Previous management, leadership, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred, but the right attitude, work ethic, and ability to lead matter just as much.
Schedule
This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40 hours per week during normal operating hours.
Days may vary, and applicants must be available for rotating Saturdays.
