Grants Coordinator

As our Grants Coordinator, you’ll lead exciting funding initiatives that support programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities — including the future development of Black Water Acres, our 150-acre inclusive farm and vocational training initiative in Alden, NY. You’ll collaborate directly with executive leadership, agency directors, community organizations, and foundations to secure funding that truly changes lives.
What You’ll Do:
- Research and pursue local, state, and national grant opportunities
- Write compelling proposals, narratives, and funding requests
- Build strong relationships with foundations, grantors, and community partners
- Help oversee grant reporting, tracking, and stewardship efforts
- Collaborate on strategic agency projects, events, and development initiatives
- Play a key role in growing innovative programs across the organization

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of grant writing/fundraising experience OR
- Associate’s degree + 5 years of Human Services experience
- Strong writing, organization, and communication skills required
