Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregivers to provide high-quality care to our residents in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, particularly in long-term care settings. As an Assisted Living Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting them with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any changes in health or behavior.
- Support residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, dressing, and housekeeping tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the supervising staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration systems and procedures is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties.
