Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to learn more about bartending and beverage service.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to guests efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish supplies, such as liquor, garnishes, and ice, to ensure the bar is fully equipped.
- Provide support during busy periods by ensuring that bartenders have everything they need to serve customers promptly.
- Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests in banquet atmosphere. (Weddings, Cooperate Events, etc)
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, hotel, or nightclub setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations during peak hours while maintaining composure.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn about bartending techniques and beverage preparation.
