CY architects inc. is a growing small architectural design firm close to most of OC and LA areas. CY is seeking an architectural job captain to assist with the development of working drawings and specifications and consultant coordination for multiple small design build and design bid build projects alongside the principal architect. An ideal candidate will be available for 30-40 hours a week, and have 5-7 years experience min., with good AutoCAD skills and intermediate to very good Revit skills in a production capacity. An accredited Architectural degree is required. An architectural license is highly preferred but not required (or well along in licensure process preferred). The ideal candidate would be skilled at extensive code research (CA Building Code), detailed production documents, writing reports and assessments, and detail oriented organization skills. Candidates with California Division of the State Architect (DSA) and California Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) and civic/government experience are a plus.
Due to the nature of our work for schools and the state court system, background checks will be required.
