The Seasonal Pool Service Technician is responsible for the regular maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of residential and commercial pools to ensure they are safe, clean, and fully operational. This role involves testing and balancing water chemistry, cleaning pool surfaces and equipment, inspecting pool systems, and performing minor repairs. The Pool Service Specialist ensures that pools meet health and safety regulations and provides exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction with their pool care services.

Performing regular cleaning of pool surfaces, including vacuuming, skimming, and brushing walls and tiles.

Testing and adjusting pool water chemistry (pH, chlorine levels, alkalinity, etc.) to ensure it meets health and safety standards.

Emptying baskets, cleaning filters, and ensuring the proper operation of pool equipment, including pumps, heaters, and lights.

Inspecting pool systems for issues such as leaks, malfunctions, or wear and tear, and performing minor repairs or adjustments as needed.

Report any major equipment issues to the supervisor for further evaluation and repairs.

Communicating with clients about pool conditions, any maintenance issues, and offering recommendations for additional services or repairs.

Educating clients on pool care and safety best practices, including water balancing and filter maintenance.

Ensuring all pool areas meet safety standards, including proper signage, secure gates, and functioning safety equipment.

Adhering to all local regulations regarding pool maintenance and water quality.

Communicate professionally with clients and team members to maintain a positive client/company relationship.

Install, adjust, and perform minor repairs as required on equipment.

Oversee crew members performing day-to-day tasks when applicable.
