Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for a DERMATOLOGY TRAINED AND EXPERIENCED MEDICAL ASSISTANT at a well-established privately owned dermatology practice. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting medical professionals by assisting with patient care, preparing treatment rooms, obtaining medical histories, taking vital signs, managing medical records, and performing administrative tasks in a medical office setting. This role also entails ensuring that the clinic operates efficiently while providing a high standard of care and communication to patients.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical assisting with a strong understanding of dermatologic medical terminology
- Experience performing administrative tasks in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care
- Experience organizing, updating, and maintaining medical records
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, providers, and staff
- CMA/RMA certification or Certified Dermatology Technician credential preferred
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems; EMA experience is a plus
- Prior experience in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery, including assisting with excisions and Mohs surgery
- Knowledge of cosmetic dermatology procedures, skincare products, and treatment plans
- Ability to assist with cosmetic consultations, patient education, and in‑office cosmetic treatments (e.g., chemical peels, lasers, injectables support, or aesthetic workflows depending on practice offerings

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
