Maarky Thermal Systems, a supplier of heat transfer equipment to the global power industry, is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated candidate to fill the position of Project Engineer/Mechanical Engineer, to join our vertically integrated team. In this role, you will manage engineering projects from the initial design phase through to final manufacturing. Because we operate across multiple facilities, you will collaborate with diverse teams in a dynamic, multi-site environment to ensure seamless product delivery, technical excellence, and operational efficiency.
The responsibilities of this position include:
Ø Monitor project progress, track budgets, and manage change processes to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Ø Reviewing client technical specifications and working with a mechanical designer to create designs for steam surface condensers, feedwater heaters and heat exchangers.
Ø Reviewing client commercial specifications and working with our fabrication support staff to prepare detailed proposals for clients.
Ø Preparing detailed thermal and mechanical design calculations for steam surface condensers, feedwater heaters and heat exchangers utilizing Microsoft Excel, Mathcad, HTRI and Codeware Compress software, interfacing with our Engineering consultants as needed.
Ø Determining specifications for auxiliary equipment and working with suppliers and clients to ensure specifications are met.
Ø Align schedules, resources, and engineering changes across various company locations and production facilities.
Ø Review of final design drawings and schematics to ensure design criteria are met.
Ø Interfacing with clients, contractors and suppliers throughout project execution.
Qualifications:
Ø B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
Ø Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant industry
Ø Knowledge of ASME Section VIII-Div-1 Code, Welding and Pressure Vessel Fabrication
Ø Knowledge of HEI standards
Ø Familiarity with Mathcad, HTRI and Codeware Compress software
Ø Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Ø Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor Software is a plus
Ø Self-motivated and able to work on multiple projects

Pay: $75,235.80 - $90,606.55 per year
