Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will craft exceptional beverages, provide outstanding customer service, and create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in drink preparation, combined with your ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, will ensure every guest has a memorable experience. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment, you will be the face of hospitality and the master of mixology.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to support catering events, banquets, or nightclub operations as needed.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables or bar stations without compromising service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting; fine dining experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and payment processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and drink recipe measurements.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during busy hours.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing and mixing drinks confidently.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; night club or catering experience is a plus.
