Job Overview
Gondola Skate Moving Systems is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and testing Gondola Skate products and components in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain Gondola Skate equipment and components.
- Perform preventative maintenance and testing procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow established repair procedures and quality standards.
- Document repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory usage accurately.
- Assist with assembly, disassembly, and refurbishment of equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse and service-related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical, maintenance, assembly, repair, or related experience.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience reading technical instructions or repair documentation.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
