Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve, including individuals with disabilities, and those requiring long-term care. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of care-giving tasks that promote independence and well-being in a home or community setting.
- Part Time - 24 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Every other Holiday
- On Call Rotation
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and mobility.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care-giving, nursing homes, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
- Certification in medication administration is a plus but not mandatory.
