Housekeeping / Dietary Aide – PRN
This position provides support to both our Housekeeping and Dietary departments based on facility needs.
Assist with meal and snack preparation
Serve meals and assist residents during meal service as needed
Assist cooks with meal preparation
Work in the dish room and maintain clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention guidelines
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
Perform routine dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting
Replenish paper products, soap, and housekeeping supplies
Remove trash and handle soiled linens according to infection control procedures
Follow all infection prevention, sanitation, and safety protocols
Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards promptly
Help maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Compassionate, patient, and respectful when working with residents
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Previous housekeeping, dietary, food service, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred
Commitment to providing excellent service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care facility, healthcare setting, housekeeping, or food service is a plus
