The EEG Research Technician supports a research program by performing electroencephalographic (EEG) assessments and related neurophysiological data collection activities required to achieve grant-funded milestones. This position is responsible for acquiring high-quality EEG data, maintaining research documentation, supporting participant visits, and ensuring compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and data quality standards. The role is essential to fulfilling the grant's objectives related to biomarker development, quantitative phenotyping, and clinical trial readiness.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of EEG acquisition procedures and neurophysiology principles. Experience with high density electrodes/ 128 channel research EEG. The ability to follow detailed research protocols and standard operating procedures. Has strong organizational and documentation skills. Have proficiency with computer systems and electronic data management platforms. Has the ability to work effectively with children, families, clinicians, and research staff. Be a Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) certification or eligibility. Has experience supporting clinical research studies. Has familiarity with REDCap and electronic research databases and experience in pediatric neurology, epilepsy, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental research.
