Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Handyman to join our team in Cleveland, OH. This role involves performing a wide variety of commercial and residential maintenance and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set in general repairs, maintenance, and installations in both home and commercial environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs for residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall
- Install or repair doors, windows, flooring, cabinetry, and various fixtures
- Minor plumbing repairs (leaky faucets, clogged drains, toilet repairs, etc.)
- Basic electrical work (e.g., light fixture installation, outlet repairs, minor wiring tasks)
- Patch, paint, and finish drywall, including minor wall repairs and touch-ups
- Assist with HVAC and appliance maintenance and minor repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating project scope, timelines, and any issues that arise
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on properties
- Be proactive and suggest improvements to clients when applicable
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in general handyman work, maintenance, or construction
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Must have own tools appropriate for handyman tasks
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay organized
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, outdoors, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with more specialized tasks like tiling, flooring, or HVAC maintenance
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical diagrams
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic knowledge of energy-efficient solutions

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
