Endeavor Hotel Group, LLC is currently seeking motivated individuals to join their team as a Food Runner for The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes located in Baxter, Minnesota!
The Food Runner plays a key role in ensuring guests receive their meals promptly and accurately. This position supports the kitchen and service staff by delivering food to tables and/or the on-site water park, maintaining quality standards, and providing excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administration:
- Ensure all dishes meet presentation and quality standards before leaving the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas.
- Assist with clearing tables and resetting as needed.
Personal Effectiveness:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize to support smooth service flow.
Communication:
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery and special requests are met.
- Respond to guest inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Communicate any issues or delays promptly to the appropriate team members.
- All other duties and tasks as assigned.
These essential functions collectively contribute to the overall success of the hotel by ensuring financial health, operational efficiency, compliance, guest satisfaction, a positive work environment, and effective risk management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification: No formal education requirement; high school enrollment or diploma preferred but not required.
Experience Required: Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Skills/Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION
Talking: Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly

Repetitive Motion: The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of time.
Finger Dexterity: The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle equipment and tools.
Average Vision: Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Physical Strength: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds (unassisted) as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for long periods of time
WORKING CONDITIONS
General restaurant/hotel environment with climate control and adequate lighting. Position requires frequent walking, standing for extended periods, and carrying trays of food. Noise levels may vary and can be high during peak service times.
MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION
Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization.
Mathematics Ability: Strong numeric capabilities; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and common fractions.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to communicate clearly.
