Duties
- Assist in managing daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service
- Prepare a variety of beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Bake fresh goods daily, maintaining quality standards and food safety protocols
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing cash and card payments
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the café environment by following cleaning schedules, food handling guidelines, and sanitation procedures
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and assisting with food preparation as needed
- Seeing a need, filling a need.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred; barista experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- In this lead role, you will be trained as a baker and as a barista. This is a leadership role.
