Rite Staff is hiring 10 dependable General Labor Associates for a full-time, first-shift opportunity at a manufacturing facility in Mount Airy, North Carolina.
This is an active, hands-on position for applicants who are comfortable standing, moving, lifting, and performing repetitive production duties throughout the workday. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general manufacturing and production duties
- Handle, move, and organize materials
- Package, sort, and prepare finished products
- Visually inspect products for obvious defects
- Keep production and work areas clean and organized
- Follow instructions from supervisors and production leads
- Maintain a steady and safe working pace
- Follow all workplace safety and attendance requirements
- Perform additional general labor duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to work Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Ability to stand and remain active for most of the shift
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift as required
- Comfortable performing repetitive physical work
- Dependable transportation to the Mount Airy worksite
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required
Position details
- Pay: $11.00 per hour
- Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Openings: Ten
- Start: Confirmed candidates will be provided with start instructions
