About the Position
The Celebrate Freedom Foundation is seeking a visionary Project Manager to lead, design, and implement a groundbreaking Aerospace Charter School from the ground up.
As the Project Manager, you will own the full project lifecycle—moving from initial concept to a fully operational institution. You will manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, including budgeting, financial controls, web design, and educational programming. Serving as the primary point of contact for external partners and internal stakeholders, this role requires exceptional leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to navigate complex technical, contractual, and organizational landscapes. South Carolina Charter School process in accordance with the South Carolina Department of Education policy and procedures.
Core Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Execute all project phases in accordance with scope, schedule, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and financial budgets.
Allocate resources and coordinate manpower effectively to achieve key milestones.
Simultaneously manage 2–4 interconnected project tracks.
Team Leadership & Optimization
Lead, inspire, and motivate cross-functional startup teams.
Define clear project goals, accountabilities, and responsibilities for team members.
Provide strategic and technical guidance to resolve complex operational issues.
Monitor team performance, efficiency, and overall project effectiveness.
Risk Management & Quality Assurance
Identify potential project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Establish rigorous quality standards and conduct regular, formal project reviews.
Ensure all development phases are closely monitored and financially sound.
Financial & Contractual Governance
Monitor project costs, financial performance, and adherence to approved budgets.
Ensure strict compliance with commercial agreements and institutional guidelines.
Evaluate the feasibility, cost, and organizational impact of contract variations.
Stakeholder Communication
Communicate project status, risks, deviations, and strategic opportunities clearly and proactively.
Manage stakeholder expectations while successfully navigating contract obligations and timelines.
