The Mental Health Tech provide various support services to the clients and clinical staff of Skyland Trail.
Duties:
- Transport clients to scheduled physician's appointments, laboratory appointments, and other locations as deemed appropriate.

Make trips to purchase food items, supplies, or other items necessary for the continuity of the program.

Organize the clients and transport to the grocery store on a weekly basis. Remain within budgetary guidelines as established by Residential Coordinator.

Responsible for driving in a safe and responsible manner at all times, obeying all traffic laws.

Responsible for keeping up with and reporting maintenance needs of
the van (i.e.; brake work, oil changes, etc.). Ensure that the van maintains a safe level of gasoline and motor oil. Perform van safety checks. -
Ensure that the clients are following safety procedures while riding in the van (i.e.; seatbelts on, no drinking, and no smoking, no rough-housing).

Must keep facility vehicle clean.

Conduct assigned Residential groups and document based on developed written curriculums for each group.

Conduct community activities for clients per schedule as developed by Life Skills Coordinator.

Facilitate community meetings.

During evening shift hours, assist clients in the preparation of dinner and clean-up of kitchen. Assist or lead evening client activities.
- Supervise the self-administration of clients' medication as needed and properly document each dose.

Utilize staff shift log to convey pertinent information to other staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.
