Thai Cook position requires at least 24 months of experience in preparing Thai soups, appetizers, and entrees, following traditional recipes and specific Thai cooking techniques demonstrated through employment as a Thai commis de cuisine, Thai demi-chef, Thai Head Cook, or Thai chef. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Candidates must be proficient in handling a wok and preparing all ingredients for dishes during service. Since this role often requires working with minimal supervision, applicants should be capable of following recipes accurately and possess a strong understanding of Thai cuisine, including its flavors, ingredients, and methods.
Adaptability in modifying and customizing recipes based on ingredient availability and customer preferences is needed. Attention to detail is crucial as the quality of prep work directly impacts the final product, so attention to detail is paramount.
