We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various design disciplines and a passion for producing high-quality printed materials. This role requires proficiency in both traditional screen printing techniques and digital design, enabling the creation of visually stunning products that meet client specifications.
Duties
- Operate and maintain screen printing equipment to produce high-quality prints on various substrates.
- Collaborate with the design team to interpret artwork and prepare screens for printing.
- Ensure color accuracy and consistency throughout the printing process by applying knowledge of color theory.
- Load and unload garments while maintaining proper placement and production speed.
- Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure they meet established standards before final production.
- Clean presses, screens, squeegees, tools, and production areas.
- While the focus of this position is on screen printing this position will also require help with embroidery, paper printing and heat press.
- Assist in the development of new techniques and processes to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in screen printing technology.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of automatic press operation experience
- Knowledge of screen setup, registration, ink systems, and curing methods is helpful.
- Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to work around inks, cleaning chemicals, heat, noise, and production machinery.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
