Overview
We are looking for a Part-Time Ninja Warrior Coach who is passionate about fitness and mentorship. You will lead classes for ninjas aged 5–15, helping them conquer obstacles, build confidence, and discover that they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
Duties
- Lead and host classes for students ages 5–15. You will teach the "Ninja" way by demonstrating how to run, jump, and climb through our obstacle courses.
- Lead birthday parties, school field trips, and special sessions like Laser Tag and Medieval Combat.
- Help out with our big events, including Ninja Night Out and our seasonal Ninja Camps.
- Use proper techniques to assist students on obstacles. You must be able to lift and support students to ensure they land and train safely.
- Command the attention of large groups, keeping the environment organized, engaging, and fun.
- Help keep the gym professional and safe by assisting with daily cleaning and moving heavy obstacles as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work well with children of different ages and backgrounds.
- Previous experience in a fitness setting is advantageous.
- Willingness to work weekday afternoons and/or evenings.
- Willingness to work Saturday morning, afternoon, and/or evening.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- You are a "people person" who is comfortable talking to both kids and parents. You should be naturally motivating and great at cheering students on.
- Ability to give clear instructions to students and provide helpful progress updates to parents.
- You believe in building confidence in others and helping kids push through challenges with a smile.
