Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, comfortable, and welcoming for our residents, visitors, and staff. As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining our healthcare facility by:
Performing routine repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and building systems
Conducting daily facility inspections and proactively addressing maintenance needs
Troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues quickly and efficiently
Maintaining clean, safe, and attractive common areas throughout the facility
Assisting with seasonal grounds maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal
Responding promptly to maintenance requests and urgent facility needs
Supporting a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors
At least 1 year of maintenance, facilities, or related experience
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
High school diploma or GED required
