Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial environments while ensuring all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate electrical panels and devices
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
- Collaborate with project managers, apprentices, and other trades
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Document completed work and material usage
Qualifications
- Valid State of Idaho Journeyman Electrician license
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial and/or industrial projects
- Experience with motor controls, PLCs, or automation systems
- Ability to supervise apprentices
