Job Responsibilities
- Dispatch Execution: Manage daily vehicle arrival/departure scheduling and route capacity dispatch at the Hub; coordinate inbound and outbound shift handovers to ensure on-time performance
- On-Site Operations Support: Collaborate with sorting and loading teams on cargo handover, track sorting progress, and realign capacity with volume as needed
- Exception Management: Monitor end-to-end operational exceptions (vehicle delays, volume fluctuations, backlog risks, scan errors, etc.), coordinate resources for timely resolution, and escalate with relevant stakeholders
- Data & Reporting: Compile daily dispatch metrics, produce shift reports and exception logs, and ensure data accuracy and traceability
- SOP Compliance: Follow dispatch standard operating procedures strictly, and support continuous improvement of dispatch efficiency and handover quality
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with station operations, linehaul capacity, customer service, and other teams to ensure smooth information flow and efficient Hub operations
Requirements
- Education: Associate degree or above; major in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, Operations or related field preferred
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, on-site execution, or dispatch in logistics; experience in express, LTL, or distribution center dispatch is a plus
- Skills: Familiar with Hub operations and basic knowledge of vehicle dispatch and sorting handover; proficient in Excel and standard office tools; WMS/TMS system experience preferred
- Language: Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, able to use both as working languages for daily communication and email correspondence
- Work Adaptability: Available for shift work and peak-season overtime; comfortable working in a Hub/Warehouse on-site environment
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
