Envoi Associates is a Child Placement Agency dedicated to supporting youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by licensing and supporting Specialized Foster Homes throughout Northern Colorado.
We are currently seeking compassionate individuals or families to open their homes to youth ages 6–18 who need extra care, stability, and support. If you have experience in caregiving, education, behavioral health, or are simply passionate about helping children grow and thrive, you could make a lasting difference.
As a Specialized Foster Parent, you’ll receive extensive training, 24/7 support, and tax-free reimbursement for each day a child/youth is placed in your home.
What We Provide:
- Free comprehensive training (CPR/First Aid, QMAP, trauma-informed care, de-escalation, etc.)
- Ongoing coaching and case management support
- 24/7 on-call support from experienced professionals
- No cost for certification, fingerprinting, or background checks
- $104-150/day reimbursement (tax-free) when a youth is in your home
Responsibilities:
- Providing a safe, stable, and welcoming home environment
- Supporting children and youth with daily routines and life skills
- Attending appointments, therapy, and school meetings as needed
- Using trauma-informed approaches and behavioral strategies
- Encouraging independence and healthy social relationships
- Collaborating with a professional team to meet the youth’s needs
- Documenting progress and maintaining licensing compliance
Requirements:
- Must be 21 or older.
- Have a stable income to cover household expenses.
- Must live in Northern Colorado (Weld, Larimer, Broomfield, or Boulder counties).
- Must have a private bedroom available for foster youth.
- Be able to provide a safe, caring, and affirming home for all children/youth, including LGBTQIA+ youth.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- All household members must be willing to complete and pass background checks and health screenings.
- Willingness to become certified as a therapeutic foster home through Envoi Associates which includes completing 45-60 hours of pre-service training.

Pay: $3,100.00 - $4,800.00 per month
