What You’ll Do as a Machine Builder:

Assemble machinery and equipment using hand and power tools
-
Read blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assemblies accurately
-
Align and fit components to meet required measurements and tolerances
-
Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify accuracy
-
Inspect completed assemblies and report quality concerns or damaged parts
-
Move and position materials and equipment safely throughout the work area
-
Perform light fabrication, welding, machining, and preventative maintenance tasks as needed
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
-
Work closely with team members to meet production and quality goals
-
Assist with troubleshooting assembly issues and improving production processes
-
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
Skills and Experience:
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments preferred
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
-
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
-
Ability to read a tape measure accurately to within 1/16”
-
Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, levels, and measuring gauges
-
Basic shop math skills, including fractions and decimal conversions
-
Ability to work independently and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
-
Comfortable working in varying temperatures within a production setting
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Valid driver’s license required
