We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our hospital-based therapy team. The OT will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients with physical, cognitive, and functional impairments in an acute or inpatient setting. This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about helping patients return to meaningful daily activities and independence.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients’ functional abilities and needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote independence in daily living activities.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment recommendations, and patient/family education.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Accurately document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Kansas State OT License (or eligibility for licensure).
- NBCOT certification required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
