- Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and system checks.
- Troubleshoot and repair systems including brakes, suspension, drivetrain, HVAC, and electrical components.
- Conduct fleet inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety and DOT compliance standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain service truck, tools, and equipment in safe and working condition.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and recommendations.
- Assist with shop or warehouse duties when not on service calls.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
- Experience with diesel and/or heavy-duty truck repair preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in various weather and road conditions.
- Capable of lifting 50–100 lbs. regularly (more with assistance).
- Basic computer and mobile app proficiency for work orders and reporting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
