Job Summary
The Hotel Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all hotel facilities and equipment. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to the upkeep of the hotel, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly, and providing excellent customer service to guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and leadership skills, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for both guests and staff.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel equipment and systems including AC issues, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems.
- Conduct tasks as needed for repairs or installations.
- Utilize schematics to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Oversee the work of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests regarding maintenance issues.
Skills
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Proficiency in mechanical knowledge including familiarity with various tools and equipment used in facilities maintenance.
- Experience in supervising a team or leading projects within a maintenance environment.
- Excellent customer service skills to address guest concerns professionally.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes as they relate to hotel operations is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for various systems within the hotel.
- Familiarity with ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools used in electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
