FLSA STATUS: Part-Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt Summary
The Box Office Administrator is responsible for conducting ticket sales and performing various duties related to ticketed arena events.

Accurately operate the Ticketmaster computer ticketing system to sell tickets.

Provide superior customer services to all customers, both in person and on the telephone, by answering questions concerning ticket prices and fees, ticket policies, schedules, reservations, facility information, facility policies, and upcoming events via in person and telephone.

Communicate with guests to locate and deliver willcall tickets.

Effectively and calmly interact with guests to resolve customer service issues.

Be familiar with the venue layout to provide information such as location of restrooms, merchandise areas, exits and directions for customers.

Operate ticket scanners and assist with fan entry during events.

Assist with arena preparation and setup, such as, but not limited to, placing crowd control stanchions and signage, and creating seat labels for each event.

Manage and create emails to announce upcoming shows.

Create social media posts and ads to promote upcoming shows.

Manage signage around the arena, posters, digital, etc.

Accept payments via cash, check or credit card.

Run daily box office reports and handle the daily deposit.

Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Computer and cash handling experience strongly preferred.

Box office or guest service background a plus.
