Position Overview
Lead front-of-house dining and event operations for a private country club, with a strong focus on member experience, event coordination, and revenue generation. Responsible for selling, booking, planning, and executing member and private events while ensuring consistent, high-quality service across all dining outlets. Oversees dining operations, staffing, scheduling, beverage operations, inventory management, and event execution.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Member Experience
- Oversee daily front-of-house dining and bar operations, ensuring a consistent and elevated member experience.
- Direct daily service operations, including staff deployment, task assignment, and real-time floor leadership to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Anticipate operational needs and proactively plan for events and high-volume service periods.
- Establish and maintain service standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency across all dining outlets.
- Work closely with the Dining Supervisor to ensure smooth daily dining operations.
Events & Revenue Generation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all member and private event inquiries.
- Sell, book, plan, and coordinate member events, tournaments, weddings, banquets, and private functions.
- Manage event execution from initial inquiry through completion, including timelines, communication, and on-site oversight.
- Develop detailed function sheets to ensure clear communication between the front-of-house team, culinary team, Event Facilitator, and leadership.
- Schedule dining room and banquet staff to ensure appropriate coverage for daily operations and events.
- Work closely with the Event Facilitator to ensure successful event setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Build relationships with members and guests to drive event bookings, repeat business, and overall club engagement.
- Support club programming and social events designed to enhance member retention and satisfaction.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house and banquet staff.
- Coach employees on service standards, professionalism, and member hospitality.
- Monitor attendance, accountability, and employee performance.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Dining Supervisor and Event Facilitator to ensure seamless dining operations and successful event execution.
Food & Beverage Operations
- Work closely with culinary leadership on menu offerings and event packages that align with member expectations.
- Oversee beverage program execution, including cocktail menu development, seasonal offerings, and bar presentation.
- Manage monthly beverage inventories, ordering, and vendor relationships.
- Maintain menu items, inventory, and pricing within the POS system, ensuring alignment with established accounting procedures.
Administrative & Compliance
- Support payroll processes through scheduling, review of employee timecards for accuracy, and tip oversight.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including proper response to guest and employee incidents and emergency situations.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
