The Glendale Police Department is currently accepting applications for Volunteer Victim Advocates for the City of Glendale. Volunteer advocates provide on-scene response and support to victims and witnesses of crime, sudden death, and other emergency situations.
Volunteer Victim Advocates provide immediate crisis intervention, individual and family support, information regarding the criminal justice system and Colorado’s Victim Rights Act (VRA), referrals to community agencies and resources, assistance in obtaining emergency shelter, and support in addressing other immediate victim needs.
This is a Volunteer position with no compensation.
Pay: $0.01 per hour
Work Location: In person
