We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Outside Sales / Showroom Manager to drive revenue growth, manage our showroom experience, and build lasting B2B relationships.
Position Overview
This is a hybrid role perfect for a high-energy professional who loves the thrill of hunting for new B2B accounts but also enjoys creating a premium consultative experience for walk-in clients. You will split your time between managing our physical showroom, meeting clients on-site to measure and scope projects, and actively prospecting for new business in the regional market.
Key Responsibilities Outside Sales & Business Development (60%)
- Prospect and Close: Actively hunt for new B2B opportunities (corporate offices, healthcare facilities, education, startups) through cold calling, networking, and field prospecting.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site client consultations to assess layout needs, budget, and aesthetic preferences.
- Blended Solutions: Leverage our diverse inventory of new and preowned furniture to create cost-effective, custom proposals.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept and quote to delivery and installation, ensuring total client satisfaction.
Showroom Management (40%)
- Curate the Experience: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom layout that highlights current inventory (especially high-value preowned liquidations).
- In-bound Sales: Greet and consult with walk-in clients, architects, and designers, converting visitors into buyers.
- Inventory Tracking: Work closely with the operations and liquidation teams to ensure showroom tags, pricing, and digital inventory records are accurate.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of successful sales experience, specifically within the office furniture industry (experience with contract furniture or preowned/used commercial furniture is highly preferred).
- Space Planning: Ability to read basic floor plans or blueprints; familiarity with space-planning tools (e.g., CAD, 2020 Giza, or CET Designer) is a major plus.
- The "Hunter" Mindset: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding B2B sales quotas through independent prospecting.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Logistics: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client site visits.
