Responsibilities:
As our Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in our practice by:

Maintaining patient medical records, updating patient medical history, and vital signs as needed.

Conducting complete patient X-ray procedures, including taking, developing, and storing X-Rays as necessary.

Completing periodontal charting as directed.
-
Preparing tools and equipment necessary for the Provider and assisting the Provider with exams as necessary.

Performing preventative periodontal care on patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, root planing, and the application of preventative agents and sealants.

Performing expanded functions, such as placing and carving amalgam and composite restorations, applying cavity liners, and placing/removing temporary crowns.

Providing anesthetic for preps for the doctor.

Administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia as necessary.

Working in tandem with the doctors to carry one column of restorative work each day.
Qualifications:
You will be required to possess the following:
-
1+ years of practical experience as a dental hygienist.
-
Registered Dental Hygienist License in PA.
-
Local Anesthesia license (required).
-
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Experience with medical imaging techniques, such as intraoral and extraoral x-rays.

Desire and ability to learn new skills and be a team player.
