Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator ensures the accurate movement of courier and carrier pick-up and delivery of
pathology specimens to the laboratory, as well oversees the transporting of other related medical specimens,
goods, documents, etc. to meet delivery objectives. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for partnering
with client services team members, physicians, and clients to ensure logistics coordination is accurate and
timely in accordance with quality and compliance requirements and exemplary customer service expectations.
Duties
1. Interacts with physicians, employees and clients in a positive manner consistent with the mission and
values of Bako Diagnostics.
2. Coordinates with client services team to promote accurate and timely processing of pick-up orders for
customers.
3. Provides assistance with maintaining logistics planning tasks.
4. Tracks shipments and supplies utilizing various vendor systems and tracking tools.
5. Answers client calls related to shipping and schedules pick-ups.
6. Works with logistics Vendor System to resolve shipping delays or problems.
7. Provides logistics support to internal departments as needed for various shipping needs.
Skills
· Knowledge of best practices for courier delivery services (Preferred)
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work with others as well as independently.
· Strong organizational skills, troubleshooting skills and follow-through skills
· Customer Service focused with a sense of urgency
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
