Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products across designated routes
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or route maps, adhering to traffic laws and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any delivery questions or concerns
- Manage documentation for deliveries, including receipts, delivery logs, and route reports
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock, or organizing shipments when needed
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Experience
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Demonstrated ability to load, unload, and handle heavy lifting safely
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including use of forklifts or pallet jacks, is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
