- Deliver instruction across core subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and library services, ensuring lessons are accessible to diverse learning needs.
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance teaching methods and support individualized learning plans, including working with students with autism or special education needs.
- Assess student progress regularly through observations, standardized testing, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to guide development.
- Mentor students in social skills, emotional regulation, and early intervention strategies to support their overall well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop tailored support plans for children requiring additional assistance or tutoring.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievements, attendance, and behavioral reports in compliance with education administration standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development theories such as Montessori or other early childhood methodologies.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education is highly valued.
- Experience working with students with diverse needs including special education or autism spectrum disorder enhances your candidacy.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering an inclusive environment is required.
- Familiarity with teaching physical education activities and integrating learning technology into daily lessons is preferred.
- Previous private school experience or background in early intervention programs will strengthen your application.
