Job Overview:
As a Food Runner at Waynesborough Country Club, you will play a key role in creating a seamless dining experience for members and guests. You’ll work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure food is delivered promptly, with accuracy and attention to detail, while maintaining the club's high service standards. Responsibilities:
- Assist servers by delivering food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables quickly and accurately.
- Verify that each dish is prepared correctly, ensuring presentation and garnishing meet quality standards.
- Respond to members' and guests' questions or concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to address any service needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Uphold club policies and service standards consistently to ensure a high-quality dining experience.
- Assist with other front-of-house tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a food runner, busser, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong team-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
