Job Overview
Tigard Donut is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Overnight Donut Glazer & Finisher to join our team. This position is responsible for transforming freshly made donuts into the finished products our customers love each morning.
This is primarily a night/early morning production position, working behind the scenes to glaze, frost, fill, decorate, and prepare donuts for the day's sales. While some light baking and production assistance may be required, the primary focus is on finishing, decorating, stocking, and maintaining product quality.
Responsibilities
- Glaze, frost, fill, and decorate a variety of donuts and pastries
- Apply toppings such as sprinkles, chocolate, maple, and specialty finishes
- Prepare fillings, icings, glazes, and finishing ingredients
- Stock and organize display cases to ensure products are attractive and ready for customers
- Package wholesale and special orders
- Maintain product consistency and quality standards
- Assist with light donut production and frying as needed
- Keep workstations, equipment, and production areas clean and organized
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with cleaning and closing production tasks before the morning rush
Qualifications
- Bakery, donut shop, restaurant, or food service experience preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Oregon Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one)
Schedule
- Overnight / Early Morning Shift
- Typical start time between 12:00 AM and 2:00 AM
- Shift length generally 5–8 hours
- Part-time or full-time opportunities available
- Weekend availability preferred
Compensation
- $16–$18 per hour, depending on experience
