Marketing & Community Engagement Manager
Page Academy is seeking a creative, organized, and community-minded Marketing & Community Engagement Manager to help strengthen our presence within the Los Angeles community and support enrollment growth across our school programs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating community partnerships, coordinating events, and developing marketing initiatives that connect families with an educational environment.
Position Overview
The Marketing & Community Engagement Manager will develop and coordinate marketing, community outreach, partnership, and enrollment-support initiatives for Page Academy.
This position will work closely with school leadership, families, community organizations, local businesses, and prospective families to increase awareness of Page Academy and strengthen our relationships within the Hancock Park and surrounding communities.
ResponsibilitiesCommunity Outreach & Partnerships
- Identify and develop relationships with local businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and educational partners.
- Create opportunities for Page Academy to participate in and contribute to local community initiatives.
- Develop mutually beneficial partnerships that support student experiences, family engagement, and school visibility.
- Maintain an organized database of community contacts, partnerships, and outreach efforts.
- Represent Page Academy at local networking and community events.
Events & Community Programs
- Plan and coordinate school and community-facing events, including open houses, family events, service projects, and seasonal programs.
- Coordinate logistics, vendors, volunteers, community partners, promotional materials, and event communications.
- Develop new event concepts that support community engagement and enrollment goals.
- Coordinate post-event follow-up and track outcomes.
Marketing & Communications
- Develop marketing materials, flyers, newsletters, email campaigns, and promotional content.
- Assist with school communications and community announcements.
- Help maintain an organized library of school photos, videos, testimonials, and promotional materials.
Admissions & Enrollment Support
- Support Open House planning and prospective family engagement.
- Identify opportunities to connect with local families and organizations.
- Track outreach efforts, inquiries, event attendance, and other relevant engagement metrics.
- Respond to prospective family inquiries and schedule tours
- Follow up with families throughout the enrollment process
- Track leads, applications, tours, and enrollment decisions
- Help families navigate the admissions process
- Maintain accurate and organized enrollment records
- Support the school with enrollment and admissions initiatives
Community & Student Initiatives
- Develop programs that connect students and families with the surrounding community.
- Coordinate service-learning and sustainability initiatives.
- Identify grant, sponsorship, donation, and fundraising opportunities.
- Develop partnerships that provide educational enrichment and experiences for students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, Arts Administration, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in marketing, communications, community engagement, event coordination, education, nonprofit work, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to build professional relationships with businesses, families, and community organizations.
- Creative thinker who can develop new ideas and turn them into actionable projects.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects.
- Experience with Canva or similar design platforms preferred.
- Experience with email marketing, social media, digital marketing, or website platforms is a plus.

This person should be comfortable taking an idea from concept to execution and working independently while collaborating closely with school leadership.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
