Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for someone special to fill the MOST important role in our company here in Vernon, NJ… our Health Enthusiasts! Health Enthusiasts carry out the Green Life Market mission every single day to support our customers on their personal journeys to better health.
The Health Enthusiast position is responsible for providing customer service and performing operational duties that drive sales through product knowledge, register functions, store cleanliness, and other related duties.
Responsibilities:
· Use product information, sampling and available resources to educate yourself and customers and assist them in making product selections that are right for them. Promptly serve customers, minimizing wait time.
· Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers and co-workers that fosters a positive work environment.
· Complete employee trainings and webinars in established timelines.
· Oversee and perform regular maintenance; clean shelves, count inventory, check expiration dates, etc.
· Receive shipments, assist in unloading stock, checking products against invoice, sorting and distributing stock, stocking shelves, pricing merchandise, and displaying product.
· Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently. Fully understand register functions, opening and closing procedures.

· Be dependable and a self-starter
· Care for our customers so they will leave our store, not only with a full bag but, also feeling they took a positive step on their journeys of health and wellness
· Nutrition & Supplement knowledge/education as well as food knowledge is preferred, but not required
· Passion for the health, fitness, and nutrition
· Retail experience a huge plus.
· Strong interpersonal and public relations skills
· Good organizational and problem-solving skills
· Flexible work hours
· Weekends Mandatory!
· Clean and neat appearance
· Must be a team player & work well with others
· Pay is commensurate with experience
· Flexibility in hours
